Consider the reappointment of Mr. Michael Kirn and/or appointments of Nicholas Blankenship or Keith Wall as members of the Police Pension Board to fulfill two vacancies through September 30, 2028; and ratify the appointment of Mr. John A. Casey to the Police Pension Board as the fifth member through September 30, 2028.

BACKGROUND:
Mr. Paul Kamus and Mr. Michael Kirn are both current members of the Police Pension Board with terms set to expire on October 1, 2024. With the expiration of these terms, two seats will become available.
Mr. Kamus has expressed a desire to retire from the Board, however Mr. Kirn is interested in seeking reappointment. He has been a member since June, 2011. He was reappointed to the board in September 2012, September 2014, September 2018 and September 2020. Mr. Kirn meets all of the qualifications for serving on a city board.
Mr. Nicholas Blankenship is a retiree from the City of Cocoa's Police Department and has submitted an application to be considered for Board membership. His application is attached for reference. He currently meets the eligibility requirements for serving on a city board.
Additionally, Mr. Keith Wall has submitted an application for Board membership. He has been a resident for two and a half years and is seeking an opportunity to serve the City of Cocoa. He also meets the requirements for serving on a city board and his application is attached.
Please note that both seats will have a four-year term through September of 2028.
