BACKGROUND:
Deputy Mayor Hearn requested this item be placed on the agenda. Deputy Mayor Hearn previously indicated that the Gala payment would include the chamber membership for the city. The payment requests are as follows:
• Space Coast Black Chamber Gala is $1500
• Chamber Membership is $500
• Board of Directors investment fee is $1000
Deputy Mayor Hearn currently serves on the Board of Directors. There is a required investment fee for these members. As indicated above, that fee is $1000 dollars.
The city has a membership with the Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce which is currently $1000 dollars per year. This item is unbudgeted and Council will need to determine where the payments should come from.
