Consider the reappointment of Shari Scott, Lloyd Roberts, Dik Muller and Josue Otero, and the appointment of Gloria Weatherspoon as members of the Code Enforcement Board through June 30, 2027.

BACKGROUND:
The Code Enforcement Board currently has three Regular Board member terms who have expired June 30, 2024. The board also has one Regular member vacancy and a 1st Alternate member vacancy available in addition to the three expired terms.
Shari Scott, Lloyd Roberts and Josue Otero’s term on the Code Board expired on June 30, 2024 and they are all interested in reappointment through June, 2027. They all meet the eligibility requirements.
Dik Muller is currently a 2nd Alternate member on the Code Board and has served since November 2023. He would like to be considered for the Regular member vacancy for a three-year term through June, 2027. It should be noted that if Council chooses to move Mr. Muller into the Regular member seat, his position as 2nd Alternate would then become open.
Gloria Weatherspoon is a new applicant and is not currently serving on any boards. She is seeking to be appointed to either a Regular member seat or an Alternate member seat. She currently meetings the eligibility requirements for serving on a City board and her application is attached to this item.
The vacancies were posted and advertised with a deadline to apply by June 14, 2024.
