BACKGROUND:
Case #21-0044
Code Enforcement Offense:
On April 26th, 2021 Code Enforcement conducted a proactive patrol on Beverly Road and observed code violations at 228 Beverly Road. The owner Joe Shaffer, was found in violation of "Storing Outdoors, Ch 6 Sec. 6-900, Accumulation of Trash and Litter Ch 6 Sec. 6-900 (b), Permit Required App A Art. XV Sec 2 (a) and Tents as accessory structures is prohibited APP. A,ART.XIII, Sec.6, A notice of violation was generated on April 26th, 2001 and sent to the address on file with the Brevard County Property Appraiser.
The Code Enforcement Board held a public hearing on June 17th, 2021, at which time found the Board Found the owner Joe Shaffer in violation of the above-mentioned sections of the City Code.

Lien Reduction Request: Barry Shaffer (current property owner) is requesting a reduction of the lien to the cost of staff $2,741.58.
RECOMMENDED MOTION
Approve the current Code Enforcement Lien for the property located at 228 Bevely Road, be reduced to the amount of $2,741.58 as recommended by the Code Enforcement Board.
