BACKGROUND:
Ms. Bonilla was appointed to the Code Enforcement Board in November 2023 as an Alternate member. She was then appointed to fulfill the unexpired term of Verna Hughes as a Regular member in March of 2024.
Ms. Bonilla is seeking reappointment as a Regular member through June of 2027. She currently meets all eligibility requirements for serving on a city board.
The position was also advertised on the city’s website and social media in accordance with the new advertisement procedure. Ms. Bonilla was the only applicant.
