BACKGROUND:

 

Staff is requesting that the Council consider the following eligible applicants, listed below, to fulfill the remaining unexpired term of David Lightholder who was a Regular member on the Code Enforcement Board. This term expires on June 30, 2024.  Additionally, Council will also need to consider one of the applicants to fulfill the 1st Alternate member seat as that seat is currently vacant as well.

 

The applicants are:

 

Melissa Acosta-Bonilla 

Dik Muller

Josue Otero

 

It should be noted that Mr. Otero is currently the 2nd Alternate member. If Mr. Otero is selected to fulfill the unexpired term of Mr. Lightholder, the 2nd Alternate member seat will become available.

 

Each applicant meets the requirements for serving on a City board. All applications are attached for Council’s review, along with a board roster.
