BACKGROUND:
Mayor Blake, Deputy Mayor Hearn, Councilmember Goins and Councilmember Koss will be attending the Florida League of Cities Annual Conference in Hollywood, Florida from August 14th through August 18th, 2024. While the City is responsible for the Mayor’s conference registration, his hotel expenses will be covered by the Florida League of Cities as he is the Vice President. The total estimated cost for all expenses is around $7,200. Registration costs for the conference are budgeted under Council’s Training account and all other expenses related to travel are budgeted under Council’s Travel & Per Diem account.
