BACKGROUND:
On March 26, 2024, under agenda item 24-111 City Council approved the donation of a patrol canine to the Cocoa Police Department. The Canine Program is currently in need of a heat protection system for a new canine vehicle. The Space Coast Police K-9 Foundation has approved, through their respective board, donation of this Cool Guard System, which would cost $2,726.
They would like to purchase the item through their board.
