BACKGROUND:

The Utilities Advisory Board currently has five Regular board members, one of which will be allowing his term to expire which will leave one open vacancy in addition to the two alternate member vacancies. Earlier this year, it was requested by City Council to advertise Board vacancies to generate more interest. During the month of November, four members' terms will expire. Therefore, the Board will ultimately have 3 vacancies.

Mr. Wesley Park has served on the Utilities Advisory Board since May, 2017. His current term expires on November 30, 2020, and he has expressed a willingness to serve for an additional three years. Mr. Park meets all of the qualifications for serving on a City board, and his intent to reapply letter is attached for your review. If reappointed, Mr. Park's term would be through November 30, 2023.

Mr. David Prather has served on the Utilities Advisory Board since September, 2018 and his current term expires November 30, 2020. He has expressed a willingness to serve for another three years. Mr. Prather meets all qualifications to serve on a City board. If reappointed, his term will be through November 30, 2023. His intent to reapply letter is attached for your review.

Ms. Barbara Kinsey has served on the Utilities Advisory Board since February, 2016. Her current term expires on November 30, 2020 and she has expressed a willingness to serve for another three years.
