Approve the first amendment to Purchase Agreement with Underwater Engineering Services, Inc., C&D Construction Inc., Rush Marine LLC, and TSI Disaster Recovery LLC for Marine Construction Services (RFQ 18-15-COC). Authorize the City Manager to sign the first amendment effective June 22, 2021 through June 21, 2022. Authorize the City Manager to sign the second and final amendment effective June 22, 2022 through June 21, 2023. End

BACKGROUND:
In 2018, City Staff selected qualified contractors to perform related waterfront construction and maintenance work to repair damage from Hurricane Irma. Council entered into Continuing Service Agreements with the following Contractors:
1) RUSH Marine LLC.
2) C&D Construction Inc.
3) TSI Disaster Services LLC.
4) Underwater Engineering Services Inc.
The original contract was for three years and expires on June 21, 2021. There are two each additional one-year renewals; this is the first renewal amendment effective June 22, 2021 through June 21, 2022. The second and final amendment is effective June 22, 2022 through June 21, 2023. Contractors have provided responsive service; Staff recommends Council approve the amendments.
STRATEGIC PLAN CONNECTION:
Waterfront Construction will renew the facilities making it easier for the public to engage with the waterfront at both Lee Wenner Park and Riverfront Park.
BUDGETARY IMPACT:
No budgetary impact at this time. Future expenditures will be brought back to Council for approval of future projects.
PREVIOUS ACTION:
Council awarded the original Continuing Service Agreement (RFQ 18-15-COC) to the four Contractors on June 12, 2018.
