BACKGROUND:

The Sustainability Advisory Board was established by Resolution No. 2017-137. The Board currently has seven openings. The following applicants have expressed their desire to serve on a City Board. The applicants are as follows:

Ronald Deel is the owner and operator of "Pucker Pickle Juice" and has requested membership on this board. If approved, he would fulfill the seat vacated by Kaylyn Palmer and would fulfill 2/3 of the allowance of members who can serve who live outside of the city limits of the City of Cocoa. His term would be through February, 2024.

Diana Robinson has been a lifelong resident of Cocoa who has worked and been a business owner within the City. If approved, she will fulfill the seat vacated by Jo Shim (who did not request reappointment as she is moving out of Brevard County). Her term would be through April, 2024.

Jonathan Templeton is a local attorney with an office in Cocoa Village and has also requested membership on this board. If approved, he would fulfill the seat vacated by Robert Musser and would fulfill the 33% of members show can serve who live outside of the city limits of the City of Cocoa. His term would be through April, 2024.

Additionally, the following Board members have requested reappointment to the Board:

Paige Horr: Her new term would be through April, 2024
Linda Gombert: Her new term would be through April, 2024
Kristina Jackson: Her new term would be through February, 2024
