BACKGROUND:

Amy and Chad Cryderman submitted a Commercial Fa?ade Improvement Program Grant Application on August 12, 2021 for approval. The property address is 405 Florida Avenue, Cocoa, FL 32922. Amy and Chad Cryderman are requesting funding for the following improvements:
Exterior Painting
Two new extrerior doors
Building and Stucco repair
Building sign
Landscape Rocks
Landscape pavers

Per the application, the applicant is proposing the total amount of the fa?ade project will be $21,656.00. The application submitted all required documentation and is requesting grant funds not to exceed $10,000.

Pursuant to Article II of the Commercial Fa?ade Improvement Program Policy, "fa?ade rehabilitation, stucco restoration, replacement/reconstruction of architectural features, awnings and lighting" which is visible from the right of way, are intended to preserve and protect the structure and aesthetic integrity of the existing commercial building, are an eligible expense. Therefore, the proposed improvement is eligible for fa?ade grant funding.

In Accordance with Article III of the Commercial Fa?ade Improvement Program Policy, the amount of any grant shall be determined at the Board's sole discretion based on the following factors:

1. The estimated value of the proposed private investment;
