BACKGROUND:

On September 25, 2018, the Diamond Square CRA entered a Professional Services Agreement with the Alliance for Neighborhood Restoration ("ANR"), whereby ANR would provide community services related to workforce career readiness and crime prevention. ANR successfully submitted a proposal that addressed workforce career readiness and crime prevention. The Agreement outlined specific goals, deliverables and reporting requirements. In August of 2019, the Diamond Square Redevelopment Agency renewed the agreement for Fiscal Year 2021.

The existing agreement has an effective term of October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021. In accordance with Paragraph VI. of the agreement and its Amendment, ANR is currently being compensated a total of $25,000 over the term of the Agreement, which is paid in equal monthly payments. ANR receives payment after receipt of submission of a monthly report and deliverables. Monthly reports are due to the Community Services Director or designee no later than ten (10) days after the end of each month.

Based upon the monthly reports submitted, ANR has satisfied the requirements of the Agreement. Further, this program meets Goal 4.4 (Programs and Partners for Kids) and Goal 5.3 (Role Models and Mentoring) in the Diamond Square Community Redevelopment Plan Update.
