BACKGROUND:
On November 13, 2019, City Council approved the final ranking of firms for RFQ-20-03-COC, Engineering Services for the Water System, and authorized the City Manager and City Attorney to negotiate and execute a multi-year contract with the selected firm, Jacobs Engineering Group (Jacobs). This agreement was entered on February 5, 2020, for three years with the option to extend the term for two (2) additional two (2) year terms.
Staff is requesting City Council approval of one task order under this Continuing Service Agreement (CSA). The following is the Task Order and Scope of Services:
Task Order 2021-17 FY2022 Program Management/ Administration, Design Management and Construction Project Support Services for Operating Revenue funded Cocoa Utilities Capital Improvement Plan Program Projects related to Water Supply and Water Treatment. The first task of this task order is to provide program management, engineering and operations support to Dyal Water Treatment Plant (WTP) staff for both capital and repair/replacement (R&R) projects related to the water supply and water treatment systems. The second task of this task order is to provide project management, engineering and operations support of the Dyal WTP Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, process control systems, and instrumentation. The total authorization of expense of this task order is $374,956.
