BACKGROUND:
Firehouse Subs Grant program provides emergency service agencies with funding for public safety equipment. The Cocoa Police Department is trying to obtain police E-bikes to go into locations where police cruisers are not able to go. The Department was able to purchase two of these bikes, however, we are looking for funding for another four.
If awarded, this grant will allow the Department the other four E-bikes. The amount requested through Firehouse Subs Grant is for the four E-bikes at a total cost of $17,020.72. Firehouse Subs can make the purchase of the equipment on behalf of the City if requested.
By applying for the grant, the City grants Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation permission to use the City’s name and identifying trademarks (City logo) in connection with the application and the Foundation’s solicitations for support. The City Manager may grant use of the City Logo pursuant to the adopted City of Cocoa Logo Policy.
