BACKGROUND:
In October of 2023, the City’s Finance team began year-end adjustments and closing procedures required to close out the fiscal year ended September 30, 2023. In February of 2024, the accounting firm of MSL, CPAs & Advisors conducted field work for the audit and the report was completed in March 2024.
The results of the FY2023 audit and financial reports will be presented to the City Council by a Mr. Joel Knopp, CPA/Shareholder of MSL, CPAs & Advisors, in conjunction with this agenda.
STRATEGIC PLAN CONNECTION:
The ACFR is a tool providing City staff and stakeholders with valuable financial and other information necessary to plan and make informed financial decisions to provide for high levels of municipal services while maintaining fiscal sustainability.
