BACKGROUND:

 

Ms. Sherry Amos, Director of the Learning & Achievement Group, Inc. presented before the Agency in FY23 regarding a Summer Enrichment Program she started to help prevent the “Summer Slide” effect, where disadvantaged students lose grade-level proficiency over the summer break.  Her program is designed to counteract that problem. 

 

Her presentation will focus on the results she achieved in the 2023 Summer program.
